John P. Warren
Attorney Warren opened up his law firm with one mission: to provide dedicated and creative defense to clients facing criminal charges.
Prior to starting his own law firm in 2018, Attorney Warren worked for the state's public defender agency, the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), for six years. As a public defender, Attorney Warren represented hundreds of people facing criminal offenses, from armed robberies to operating under the influence. Attorney Warren got his start in 2012 in New Bedford and, in 2015, transitioned to Boston, where he appeared in courts throughout Suffolk County.
In 2020, Attorney Warren was named one of the Lawyers of the Year in Massachusetts by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly for his representation of the defendant in Commonwealth v. Long, 485 Mass. 711 (2020). Read more about his selection here:
Attorney Warren is a 2012 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, where he was a Dean's Scholar. At Northeastern, he and two classmates were awarded the grand prize for "Excellence in Scholarship" at the university-wide RISE competition for their work on civil-rights-era injustices in the deep South.
